Pontons is rich in fountains, caves and routes for hiking, horse riding or mountain biking. You can enjoy a wild enough nature to be only 70km from Barcelona. On the other hand, the lands of the Penedès, rich in vineyards, open the doors for us to enter the world of Wine Tourism and Gastronomy. You will find a great tour of guided visits to Wineries and Cavas with wine and sparkling tastings, pairings and tasting courses. Once at the house, or before arriving by email, we will inform you of all the most interesting visits and activities in the territory, as well as our favorite Wineries and Restaurants in the area. We also inform you of the activities for the little ones.

-Guided visit with tasting to the Parés Baltà Ecological and Biodynamic Winery, to which all the vineyards that surround our estate belong. -Guided tour with wine tasting and wine pairing at the Albet i Noya Wine Cellar: “Pioneers in ecological wines in the Penedès”. Welcome drink + Guided tour of the vineyards and the cellar + tasting with pairing of eco and local products. From 2 hours and €25/person. Visit to the vineyard, wine tasting and breakfast among vineyards. No time limit and €45 adults/€12 children.

-Guided visit with tasting to the Gramona Ecological and Biodynamic Winery: Complete Visit: Vineyards in electric 4×4 + Farm + Celler Batlle de Gramona + Historic Cava of Gramona with Tasting. From 4h and € 65 / Person. Guided Visit: From 2h and € 30 / Person. Visit only to the Historic Cava + Tasting. The two visits can be complemented with a breakfast among the vineyards on the farm with a supplement of € 20 / Person). And you also have the option of staying to eat a Tasting Menu in the private dining room (Various prices depending on the menu, consult).

-Ride in a Carriage of the Maset Horse Riding, among the vineyards of the Bodegas Torres. From 1h and € 60 for a maximum of 4 people. In the equestrian you can also go on horseback excursions and the little ones can go up on a pony. Next to the equestrian is the Cal Cassoles Restaurant with a fantastic terrace among vineyards to make an aperitif.

-Visit to Vinseum, the Wine Museum of Catalonia in Vilafranca del Penedès, which is the Capital of the Region and the Catalan Capital of Wine. Vilafranca is a 20-minute drive from Pontons.

-Market in Vilafranca street: Every Saturday morning in Vilafranca del Penedès there is a market in the street around the Town Hall and the Church. You can walk the streets of the Vila while you walk through the colorful grocery, clothing and everything stalls, our favorites are those of organic fruits and vegetables and Km.0. All ending with a vermouth on one of the town’s terraces.

Depending on what time of year you visit Vilafranca, you can also enjoy the Castellers de Vilafranca during the summer, the Rooster Fair at Christmas or the Vijazz Festival in early July. Throughout the year you can take a guided tour of Medieval Vilafranca or Modernista Vilafranca

The Alt Penedès is 70km from Barcelona and Tarragona. The closest beaches are those of Vilanova, 30 minutes by car from the rural house, or those of Sitges, 45 minutes.

For history lovers, the Santes Creus Monastery and the Cistercian route are 20 km from Pontons, the Montserrat Monastery 60 km and the Capellades Paper Mill 30 km.

At Masia Spa Can Pascol you can enjoy the whole family among vineyards and forests, it is an idyllic destination to practice Slow-tourism: quiet walks through the countryside in spring and autumn, observe nature, photograph flowers, lambs or butterflies, glimpse birds or hunting for mushrooms in autumn “sensibly and without dirtying the forest.”

The most sporty and active can go out to do activities among the vineyards on foot, on horseback, by segway or by bike. Ask us for information about what you like the most and we take care of everything.
