Masia Spa Can Pascol dates from 1800 and is located 2.5 Kms. from the village of Pontons, which is the highest in the Alt Penedès, 700 metres above sea level and 20 Kms. from Vilafranca del Penedès. Masia Can Pascol Country House and Spa enjoys a matchless environment, surrounded by vineyards – the treasures of the Penedès – and Mediterranean pine and holm oak woods where you can wander in the autumn looking for mushrooms or simply stroll in the heart of nature.

The “Masia” (which is the typical historic farmhouse of the region) consists of three sections: the central, largest part is the private home of the family; the second part is devoted exclusively to Rural Tourism; and the third part, which is a recording studio. All three are surrounded by gardens and nature.

In 2004 Eduard and I, with our 2-year-old son, decided to leave Barcelona and come to live in the countryside in a sustainable way.
We had the opportunity to restore Masía Can Pascol, a former summer family farmhouse located on the outskirts of Pontons-Alt Penedès, isolated between tall vineyards and oak and pine forests. We quickly fell in love with the landscape of the area, its light and its magnificent sunsets, its sky, the vineyards, the persistent song of the birds, the forests full of mushrooms in autumn and the nature so wild for be only 70 minutes from Barcelona.

But it was not until 2010 that “Masía Spa Can Pascol Casa Rural Ecológica” was born as a tourist accommodation. When I decided to leave my profession in the Restoration to dedicate myself to “Rural Tourism in a Responsible and Sustainable Way”.
