About us

Masia Can Pascol dates back to 1800 and is located in the heart of nature, 5 minutes from the village of Pontons, the highest in the Alt Penedès region, 700 m above sea level. It is 20 km from Vilafranca del Penedès and 70 km from both Barcelona and Tarragona.

Masia Spa Can Pascol is an eco-friendly rural house that enjoys an unbeatable setting, isolated in the countryside, surrounded by vineyards and holm oak forests, where it is a pleasure to get lost strolling among the vineyards and trails throughout the year.

The country house consists of three separate and autonomous parts:

The central and largest part is the family’s private residence. The second part is the accommodation dedicated exclusively to Rural Tourism, with a Masoveria Permit (PB-000612) for up to 5 people, with optional catering. Finally, there is a third part that serves as the owners’ recording studio; where Eduard, guitarist and composer, works.

The entire estate is surrounded by landscaped outdoor spaces surrounded by nature.

My name is Sílvia, owner (along with my husband Eduard) and manager of “Masia Spa Can Pascol Casa Rural Ecològica”. In 2004, Eduard and I, along with our son, who was barely 2 years old, decided to leave the city of Barcelona to come and live in the countryside in a more peaceful and sustainable way.
We had the opportunity to restore Masia Can Pascol, an old family summer the country house located in the Alt Penedès, isolated among high-altitude vineyards and forests of holm oaks and pine trees. We quickly fell in love with the area’s landscape, its light and magnificent sunsets, its night sky, the changing colors of the vineyards with the changing seasons, the persistent birdsong, the forest in autumn, and the wild nature just 80 minutes from Barcelona.

But it was not until 2010 that “Masía Spa Can Pascol Casa Rural Ecológica” was born as a tourist accommodation. When I decided to leave my profession in the Restoration to dedicate myself to “Rural Tourism in a Responsible and Sustainable Way”.
